Sonovation is an independent advanced Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Company with operations world-wide and offices in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany. Our company is organized in three distinct parts namely Services, Products and Training.

Services

We have specialized in advanced ultrasonic inspection methodologies and eddy current techniques. In the ultrasonic field of operation we are specialized in Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), Phased Array, Corrosion Mapping mechanized Pulse-Echo, and Long Range UT. We also offer our clients the Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) technique, a technique for quick corrosion screening under insulation (CUI) and corrosion monitoring.

Products

Sonovation design and develop a range of Ultrasonic Inspection Systems for industry. These systems are build around our Flagship Technology, Sonovision® and can be tailored to suit our clients’ needs. We also offer ScanPlan®, an exciting new software package designed to enhance quality and to simplify and speed up your inspection setups.

Training & Consultancy

Sonovation operate accredited training courses for both Tofd and Phased Array. These courses are organized in accordance with European Standard EN473 and examinations/qualifications  are offered in line with several national systems such as PCN, SKO and the American SNT/CP189.

The program for these courses can be found in the download section. In addition to the Tofd and PA arrangements a course has been structured to suit the ever increasing demands for critical sizing.

In addition to the courses described above bespoke courses can be organized to give managers a good appreciation of the use of advanced Ultrasonic Methods.

Accreditations and Qualification

Sonovation is ISO 9001 and SCC* / VCA* accredited by Lloyds Register. Our ASME XI 10CFR50 accreditation is audited by Tractebel Energy Engineering.
